picture this, picture that a cat a mouse, a temple, a kimono, a sumo wrestler, sushi............ all the things that streotypically describes Japan but how and why is that when i see an image that descibes modern day japan for what it is there never seems to be a camera in sieght.
CASE1 "What is living in Japan really like?" A simple question asked constantly by friends and family. My answer is usually its alright, is ok, there is much differnce, but there is a lot of weirdness, what the Japanese would say お菓子 (okashi). Imagine seeing thi, a car modern day Toyaota, with a navigator system but then have the owner ( regardless of age, usually 30-60+) deck it out in complete winnie the pooh accessories.
School leavers and young adults have a bit more style than that, they literally pimp up their cars. They don't stop with the navigator system, or the disco lights nor do they stop with print fur, instead, they decorate their winscreens decked out in fur, cuddly toys and fake plants!!! Oh yeah and just so you know their comming they have lights at the bottom of the car just above the tire frame.
Even better the favourite of old ladies (おばお産
are dogs, not jsut as pets but treated like people, is like the spin off the Hiltom, Bittany Hollywood obession with pets wearing clothes.
Case2 "What are Japanese students like"?
In all honesty i was a bit naive to think that japanese students had no life and were very studious. The best way to find out about japanese students is to look at their pencil casese. It displays a bit of the their personalities. Is not uncommon for students to stick pictures of their friends/idols on their cases nor is uncommom for them to have sexual pics on them as well. One student had stickers of various sexual positions on her case, and to sum it up just one sentence that all men dred "i didn't have my period this month".
i have another male student, obviousl a breat man, sticking pictures of D-cup breast on his case! He also has a the seven/eleven logo written in "6" and the word nine across it!!!!
Now all these are perfect picture moments, but why the hell does my camera always miss it!!!
